Art and Linda's Island Cottage has been updated with new wood flooring and all of the faucets and shower heads have been replaced. Outside there is now a paver path and new plants inj the front yard. In 2014, improvements included a large deck out back and an outdoor hot water shower, new deck furniture, and landscaping in the backyard, including a Meyers lemon tree and a grapefruit tree. In 2015, living room furniture was replaced and bathrooms and kitchen were painted, a new ceiling fan was put in the living room, and a new TV was put in the second bedroom and the master suite.

TripAdvisor Review: "We were in love the moment we drove up to the cottage. We found everything in place to make our stay comfortable and convenient. If we needed a corkscrew it was there, laundry detergent, beach towels it was all there. We were fond of the out door shower and loved all the landscaping. We would love to come back and bring our doggies next time. It was convenient to shopping, walking and bike trails. The beds slept comfortably and we used the roll away sofa too. There wasn't a thing that we needed that we didn't find. Thanks for a lovely getaway. Look forward to our return soon."
